Japan Volcano
Thirty-six people are presumed dead after a volcano erupted in Japan on Saturday. The cause of their death whether from gases, suffocating ash, falling rocks or other causes, is still unclear. The relatives are waiting for information on what happened to their loved ones. Another volcano may erupt like it did on Saturday, so rescuers will keep cautious of the area.
This incident makes it clear that living/hiking on an active volcano is dangerous. Whether the volcano was "active" or "inactive", I wouldn't hike or live on a mountain anyways, you never know what will happen to it. That is why geographers/scientists should do more research on "innocent" areas so us people, stay safe. |
